Wax Prep & Aftercare
Hair length: Let hair grow to about ¼ inch (roughly 2–3 weeks of growth after shaving) so the wax can grip properly.
Before: Gently exfoliate a day or two ahead, and skip retinoids or exfoliating acids on the area for a few days. Let us know if you use Accutane or prescription retinoids.
After: Avoid hot tubs, saunas, tanning, tight clothing, and intense workouts for 24–48 hours, then exfoliate a few times a week to prevent ingrown hairs.
Stay on schedule: Rebooking every 4–6 weeks keeps hair growth in sync, so each wax is quicker, smoother, and more comfortable.
